Drawing 101

This class is designed both for the non-artist with just a desire to create or for the experienced person that would like to sharpen their skills. The goal of this class is to cover the absolute essentials such as composition, getting line under control, how to start a drawing and perspective. The course is very hands-on and we will be working from observed still life set-ups. You can overcome those barriers and intimidations that are holding you back. You can learn to draw! LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS

Drawing in Color with Pastels

Cover the absolute essentials such as basic color theory, composition, pastel technique and how to see your painting in your subject in this class. The goal is learning how to use chalk pastels to blend all the spontaneity of drawing with bright and beautiful color. This class is designed both for the non-artist with just a desire to create or for the experienced person that would like to sharpen their skills. The course is very hands-on and we will be working from observed still life set-ups. LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS

LIFE DRAWING: PERFECTING YOUR SKILLS

Perfect your ability to render the human figure and your overall drawing skills with this short class. Your techniques progress through practice with a variety of different nude models and length of poses. This is your ideal follow-up to the beginning Life Drawing or if you possess basic drawing skills.
